2009 New Years Resolutions
I decided that I would make a lot of goals for next year. This is my list so far. It will probably be expanded upon.
-Read 52 books
-Use my passport at least once.
-Fly for the first time since I was a baby.
-Run a 5k.
-Ride my bike from Hattiesburg to Prentiss along the Longleaf Trace and back. A total of 82 miles.
-Make all A’s in my classes.
-Drink less soda.
-Blog more.

Rails to Trails
I was looking at my USM campus map and noticed something called Rails to Trails right by the dorm I’ll be living in. I got curious and googled it and find this website. Apparently there is a movement that converts old railroad tracks into walking/bike trails. The one at USM is 41 miles long. I will definitely be taking advantage of this when I move in 2 weeks.

Killing Yourself to Live - Chuck Klosterman
I just finished this book and have to say that I am jealous of Chuck Klosterman. The way he writes reminds me of the way my brain works. He will go off on a tangent about something seemingly unrelated to his initial point, but he has this great way of making you understand how it related. The semester just ended and I’m already planning out next semester and even the summer. I recently decided that on top of my Advertising degree it would be fun to add a history degree. Yea because there is a whole lot I can do with that combination lol.

This is bizarre. I guess Safari and Camino and multi-race Firefox just don’t reach out to blacks? What happens if I try and download Blackbird? Will it know I’m faking the funk?

I really hate ads like the one below.. It actually makes me more inclined to buy Starbucks coffee. Stick to making fucking donuts Mr dunkin.. Or get an ad that is actually backed up by facts and not a survey taken by people whose opinions I could give a shit about. Any Suggestions?
So, I am thinking about getting a bike to ride around campus next semester and possibly just around town as well. Well, I haven’t ridden a bike since I was 12 and don’t know anything about them. If anyone has any advice on what kind of bikes are good and how much they cost. That would be great.
I used to think I have insomnia, but I’ve come to realize it’s sleep procrastination. I want to sleep, but I just keep putting it off. My excuse for not sleeping right now is because Sleepless in Seattle is on TBS and I’ve never seen it.
I wish more people around me used tumblr. There are maybe 6 people representing the gulf coast on here.
