So, I was reading the Staff Picks on the Tumblr homepage and came across an interesting one. It’s a guy named Larry Chi and his blog is entitled Pushing the Limit (not to be confused with the song from Scarface). The thing that caught my eye was his big fat belly. It was looking in the mirror. I started to investigate how this guy had taken a picture of my pride and joy and realised I was mistaken. This was a guy similar to me that was a little over weight. That’s wear the similarities end because this guy was doing something about it. He was trying to convert it into a six pack in 15 weeks. And he was actually suceeding. I decided right then and there that I would issue a similar challenge to myself. Now, I will not take the same approach that he is taking. It isn’t because that is copying. I have no problem stealing a great idea, but he actually works out. Like, for real, works out. I can easily watch what I eat, but for those that do not know me, I am a lazy piece of shit. I can’t recall a single time I have worked out. I may have played a sport or something that indirectly caused me to work out, but I never intentionally gave my muscles any extra work. What I decided to do is follow the plan a website I found a couple weeks ago outlined. It’s called one hundred push ups. All you have to do is complete 100 consecutive pushups by the end of 5 weeks. Can’t be to difficult can it? I will detail what I did towards this goal everyday. Starting Monday because, hey, who wants to start things right away.
